What a no brainer. Nobody does state fairs quite like Kentucky does! It is the biggest festival in Kentucky, and for good reasons! Carnival food, Ferris wheel, livestock shows, games, local band performances, and SO much more! The fair is the third weekend of August at the Kentucky Expo Center!

What is a moonbow? The “moonbow” is a white rainbow (light is refracted in water droplets) and appears for only about 2 days around the moon. Cumberland Falls is one of the only locations in the world that you can view the moonbow.
