Rules and Prizes

This design contest is open for submissions from June 1, 2016 through June 15, 2016. Anyone can submit as many designs as they would like for the next Steel City Pops shirt. Steel City Pops will review the designs and pick the top several designs to be opened up for voting. Anyone is invited to participate in the voting for the top design. The design that has the most votes at the end of the voting period (June 20, 2016 through June 24, 2016) will win the contest. The winning design will be printed on shirts and sold by Steel City Pops.

The winning designer will win a free shirt as well as a Steel Card.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION. There will be 1 winner. The prize is one free shirt and one (1) Steel City Pops “Steel Card” The approximate retail value of the prize is up to $3,600 each.

What is “Steel Card”? A “Steel Card” is a rarely seen card made of Stainless Steel, custom engraved with the name of the card holder, that entitles the card holder to come into any Steel City Pops location (including vending carts) once every day that we’re open for the entire calendar year 2016 and receive One (1) of the following for free:

a) Up to Four (4) pops of your choice. Fruity pops, creamy pops, cookie pops, dipped pops, even the pops we haven’t thought of yet – they’re all free with the Steel Card.

b) Up to Two (2) hot beverages of your choice.

c) Up to Two (2) pops of your choice AND One (1) hot beverage.

What “Steel Card” is NOT: Steel Card is not transferable – the named card holder must be present for each and every use of the card. Steel Card is not assignable. Steel Card is not redeemable for cash. Steel Card can not be used to buy gift cards. Steel Card can not be issued to organizations or companies – only natural persons.

TAXES. All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are each winner’s sole responsibility.

NO PRIZE TRANSFER OR SUBSTITUTION. No prize or any portion thereof is transferable or redeemable for cash. No substitutions for a prize, except by Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

CONSENT AND RELEASE. By entering the Promotion, each entrant releases and discharges Steel City Pops and any other party associated with the development or administration of this Promotion, their parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, from any and all liability whatsoever in connection with this Promotion, including without limitation legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demands or actions of any kind (including without limitation personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction or property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). Except where prohibited: (i) entry into the Promotion constitutes the consent of the entrant, without further compensation, to use his/her submitted design, name, likeness, biographical data, and contact information for advertising, marketing, publicity, and administrative purposes; (ii) acceptance of a prize constitutes a release by any winner of the Sponsor Entities of any and all Claims in connection with the administration of this Promotion and the use, misuse, or possession of any prize; (iii) any potential winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility (including social security number) and a liability/publicity release.
