The Highway 280 Airstream Trailer

I love going to the beach and buying fun food from an Airstream trailer. There’s just something about the nostalgia of an Airstream that takes be back. For years, I have dreamed of having some type of shop or office set up in an Airstream trailer. So, for me, our newest shop is personal and has been very fulfilling to see it come to life.

Had it not been a labor of love, it probably wouldn’t have gotten off the ground. Doing something outside the box is always challenging and this was no exception. I want to give a special shout out to the incredible team at Shelby County Department of Development Services. They helped in too many ways to mention….so thanks, folks (you know who you are). Also, David Brush, our landscape architect, did an amazing job creating our patio area.

I wanted to share a few things that I’m excited about with this new shop…

PATIO-Has our largest and most comfortable patio area of any other shop we have…it is partly covered and partly open air. This seems like the best way to enjoy pops!
DRIVE-THRU-This shop also has a drive thru window. This will be the easiest and fastest way to get pops from our store to your house….it will be such a convenient service to our customers on their way home from work or the grocery store.
LOCATION-This shop is also in my neighborhood. I have many folks who live around me that aren’t able to travel to our shops on a regular basis. Additionally, there are many people in my community that have never heard of our business. I’m excited about now having a Steel City Pops in my community and introducing our product to many new faces.
GIVING BACK-The most important feature of this shop is one you won’t even see. A portion of all proceeds from this shop will go to support Vapor Sports Ministries and the work they do all over the world. Vapor is providing incredible opportunities for underserved people in several third-world countries. If you would like to know more about what they are doing, click here to visit their website.
